My therapeutic approach is personal, non-judgmental, and supportive. I work from a humanistic-existential orientation, which means I attend to your in-the-moment experience, including your experience in our relationship. Focusing in the present moment enables you to connect with yourself as you are, connect with your inner resources, and experience yourself in new ways.  My work also addresses the universal themes of meaning, freedom, responsibility, connection, isolation, and death, allowing you to explore and accept life and make conscious choices to live the life you want.

I have found that the most important factor in choosing a therapist is that you feel comfortable and able to talk with the therapist. The best way to find this out is to talk briefly on the phone and/or meet for a session or two. If you are interested in therapy—either individual, couples, friends, or business partners—I look forward to talking with you.

People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.
