Friends
Our friendships are an essential part of our lives. We share fun and joy and laughter with our friends. We also share connection and intimacy, and give and receive love and support.
Friendships, like all other relationships, also sometimes experience challenges, conflicts, and growing pains. Therapy with a friend is a way to get support for the friendship during a difficult time.
Friends Therapy can be useful when:
- Life changes are impacting the friendship
- Communication is difficult
- One or both friends feel hurt by the other
With you, I co-create a safe space for each of you to talk about your true feelings and needs, and I act as a guide through the process of connecting. In addition to helping you talk through the conflict, I may also facilitate experiential work, in which you both have the opportunity to experience yourselves and your relationship in a new way.
